Redacted" is the first single off oldseed's 9th studio album "Incredible Strides" out Aug 22, 2022 on Sabotage Records and Breaking Records.
"Redacted" is a reflection on the existential done in classic oldseed knife-through-the-heart style.
"Redacted" is a song about helplessness and defeat as we watch our lives, our world move into it's terminal phase.
"Redacted" was recorded in kassel germany in april 2021 and is very much a reflection of the spirit of these times.

Like watching fire like watching waves. Like watching minutes turn to hours, to days. And it's alright, it's ok.
This break's been good in a roundabout way. And now I find myself on the back foot with a heavily redacted heart.
And if we stopped pretending and if we stopped defending too. If we quantified the damage. If we pull it in. Pull it into view.
And it's alright, it's ok. It was gonna happen anyway. I was gonna tell you I swear it's true. Would you believe me if I believed you?
Now I'm calling in all favors I'm calling all bets. I'm calling this a suicide a last decision made without regrets. And it's alright and it's ok.
It was bound to happen anyway. And you can cross your heart and you can hope to die but the truth is nothing but a well told lie.
